### Dan Hawtrey - CEO Dan Hawtrey founded Content Formula in 2005 — one of the UK's first consultancies dedicated entirely to intranets. Before that, he was building intranets on the client side, well before most organisations were treating them seriously. His early work pioneered social and collaborative features, focusing on getting employees across the organisation to actively contribute to and maintain intranet content — an approach that was genuinely ahead of its time. That broad experience across regulated industries — financial services, healthcare, education, and manufacturing — led Dan deeper into the compliance and governance challenges these organisations face, and ultimately to building Xoralia, Content Formula's policy management platform for Microsoft 365. Today, Dan leads product development across Content Formula and Xoralia, writes frequently on intranets, policy management, and AI, and occasionally speaks at industry events.
